The Maui County Affordable Housing Committee reviews ordinances and resolutions related to hale kūʻai kūpono production, inclusionary zoning requirements, housing trust fund allocations, and county land disposals for affordable development. Decisions from this committee determine how many affordable units get built, who qualifies for county assistance, and what developers must provide in exchange for density or height bonuses.
