The Diamond Head Neighborhood Board (Board 05) is one of 36 neighborhood boards in Honolulu. It holds monthly public meetings where residents can discuss community concerns, hear updates from city and state agencies, and provide input on issues affecting their neighborhood.
What This Neighborhood Board Does
The Diamond Head Neighborhood Board represents the Diamond Head district on O'ahu's southeastern coast, addressing development proposals, public safety, traffic, park management, and the preservation of the neighborhood's character near Diamond Head Crater. It reviews city plans and permit applications and transmits community positions to Honolulu city agencies and the City Council. The board covers residential areas adjacent to one of O'ahu's most iconic natural landmarks.
