Hawaii Kai Neighborhood Board (NB 01)
The Hawaii Kai Neighborhood Board (Board 01) is one of 36 neighborhood boards in Honolulu. It holds monthly public meetings where residents can discuss community concerns, hear updates from city and state agencies, and provide input on issues affecting their neighborhood.
What This Neighborhood Board Does
Hawaii Kai Neighborhood Board No. 1 represents the Hawaii Kai community in the easternmost residential area of O'ahu, covering the neighborhoods of Portlock, Kuliouou, Aina Haina, Niu Valley, Hahaione, and surrounding valleys. The board hears from city agencies, reviews development proposals, and forwards community resolutions to the Honolulu City Council and the Mayor. It meets monthly and provides a formal channel for Hawaii Kai residents to engage with city government.
