Hawaii State Energy Office

The Hawaii State Energy Office (HSEO) is the lead state agency for energy policy, administering federal energy efficiency and renewable energy programs, developing Hawaii's energy strategic plan, and providing technical assistance to state and county agencies. Mālama ʻia federal funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and coordinates programs related to clean transportation, building efficiency, and Hawaii's transition away from imported fossil fuels. HSEO also collects and publishes energy data for the state.
