Hawaii Teacher Standards Board

Ang Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB) is the independent state agency that licenses teachers in Hawaii's public schools, setting professional standards for teacher preparation, licensing, and renewal. Inaaprobahan nito ang teacher education programs, issues initial and renewed licenses, and investigates license revocation for ethical violations. HTSB's standards define the qualifications required of every public school teacher in the state.

Parents and students depend on HTSB's licensing standards to ensure that teachers in Hawaii's public schools are properly qualified and prepared. Aspiring teachers need to understand HTSB's licensing pathways and requirements to enter the profession.
