King Kamehameha Celebration Commission

The King Kamehameha Celebration Commission plans and oversees Hawaii's official state observances of King Kamehameha Day, me ka the annual floral parade, draping of the Kamehameha statues statewide, and related cultural events. Hoʻohui ʻia with county committees, community organizations, and government agencies to produce events that honor Kamehameha I's legacy and Hawaiian culture. The commission manages funds appropriated for celebration activities and sets the program for statewide events.
