Makakilo-Kapolei Neighborhood Board No. 34 is one of 33 elected neighborhood boards on O'ahu under the Neighborhood Commission Office, serving the rapidly growing Makakilo and Kapolei communities in the Ewa plain of Central O'ahu. It reviews City planning and infrastructure proposals for O'ahu's second urban center, a region experiencing substantial residential and commercial development pressure. Monthly meetings address traffic congestion, school capacity, park development, and the pace of planned city growth.
