Maui Metropolitan Planning Organization

The Maui Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is the federally required transportation planning body for the Maui urbanized area, responsible for developing the Long Range Transportation Plan, the Transportation Improvement Program, and the Unified Planning Work Program. It allocates federal transportation funds among highway, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian projects in Maui County.
