North Shore Neighborhood Board (NB 27)
The North Shore Neighborhood Board (Board 27) is one of 36 neighborhood boards in Honolulu. It holds monthly public meetings where residents can discuss community concerns, hear updates from city and state agencies, and provide input on issues affecting their neighborhood.
What This Neighborhood Board Does
North Shore Neighborhood Board No. 27 is one of 33 elected neighborhood boards on O'ahu under the Neighborhood Commission Office, representing communities along O'ahu's North Shore from Kahuku to Waialua. It reviews City and County land use, development, and infrastructure proposals affecting North Shore communities and transmits resolutions to the Mayor and City Council. Meetings address concerns about rural character preservation, agricultural land, surf-related tourism impacts, and coastal access.
