OahuMPO-Citizen Advisory Committee

The OahuMPO Citizen Advisory Committee provides public input into the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization's transportation planning process, reviewing draft plans, project lists, and policy documents from a community perspective before they advance to the policy board. It ensures that OahuMPO's technical planning process incorporates the values and priorities of ordinary residents, not just agency and elected official stakeholders. The committee's recommendations are forwarded to the OahuMPO Policy Board for consideration.

This committee is the formal citizen voice in O'ahu's long-range transportation planning; participating gives residents influence over which roads, transit lines, and bike paths get prioritized and funded.
