Office of Veterans' Services

The Office of Veterans' Services (OVS) advocates for Hawaii's veterans and their dependents, connecting them with state and federal benefits including compensation, pension, health care, education assistance, and employment programs. It operates veterans' cemeteries, administers the veterans' home loan program, and coordinates with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs on behalf of Hawaii's veteran community. OVS also manages the State Veterans Cemetery and the Interisland Veterans Van program.

Hawaii veterans and their families can access a range of earned benefits and services through OVS; the office is the entry point for claims assistance and benefit navigation for the more than 100,000 veterans living in Hawaii.
