The OHA Beneficiary Advocacy and Empowerment committee advances the rights, welfare, and self-determination of Kanaka ʻŌiwi beneficiaries through policy advocacy and community engagement. Hoʻomohala ʻia positions on legislation and government actions that affect Kānaka ʻŌiwi and advises the OHA Board of Trustees on beneficiary priorities. The committee also works to expand access to OHA programs and services across the state.
