Photovoltaic Working Group

The Photovoltaic Working Group brings together state agencies, utilities, and industry stakeholders to address technical, policy, and grid integration challenges related to rooftop and utility-scale solar in Hawaii. The group identifies barriers to solar adoption, reviews interconnection rules, and recommends policy changes to support Hawaii's goal of 100 percent renewable energy. Its work feeds into decisions made by the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission and the legislature.
