The Hawaii Reentry Commission coordinates state and county agencies, nonprofits, and community stakeholders to improve outcomes for people released from incarceration in Hawaii. The commission develops and monitors implementation of a comprehensive reentry strategic plan addressing housing, employment, treatment, and family reunification for returning residents. Hana ʻia to reduce recidivism and support successful reintegration by aligning services and identifying gaps in the reentry system.
