What's Being Discussed

The State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) is holding its 3rd quarterly meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ho'opono Services for the Blind Auditorium in Honolulu. The meeting is also available via Zoom. Key topics include:

• Reports from partner agencies, including the Client Assistance Program, Department of Education, Statewide Independent Living Council, and Workforce Development Council
• A recap of a national vocational rehabilitation conference attended by SRC members
• A data update from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) covering how many people with disabilities are being served statewide and by county, employment outcomes, services to students with disabilities, and formal hearing activity
• Updates on state and federal budget status and the DVR's advocacy needs
• Upcoming SRC events, including new member terms starting July 1 and a training for new board members

• Approval of minutes from the February 24, 2026 meeting
• Selection of members for SRC standing committees
• Review of the Membership Committee report
