What's Being Discussed

The Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization's (OahuMPO) Citizen Advisory Committee is meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 2:30–3:30 PM. The meeting can be attended virtually via MS Teams or in person at 707 Richards Street, Suite 200, Honolulu.

• Meeting minutes: Approval of notes from the April 1 and June 3, 2026 meetings.
• Executive Director's update: A summary of recent OahuMPO activities and highlights from recent committee and board meetings.
• Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) update: A proposed revision to the list of federally funded transportation projects on Oʻahu (2025–2028). This includes removing one project — a culvert repair near H-3 and Likelike Highway — and adding nine new projects, such as electric vehicle facilities, road rehabilitation on Farrington Highway, a truck weigh station on Sand Island Access Road, a Vision Zero safety plan, active transportation monitoring, complete streets design on Dillingham Boulevard, and public engagement programs.
• North Shore Trails presentation: The North Shore Community Land Trust will share a 2026 report on existing and potential bike and pedestrian paths on Oʻahu's North Shore.

Decisions Expected

• The committee is asked to recommend that the Policy Board approve the TIP Revision 9, which removes one project and adds nine new transportation projects to the 2025–2028 funding plan.
