What's Being Discussed

The Contractors License Board Applications Committee will meet on July 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. to review contractor license applications submitted to the State of Hawaii. The meeting is held both in person in Honolulu and virtually via Zoom.

• The committee will review applications from nearly 50 companies and individuals seeking new contractor licenses, additional license classifications, or reactivation of existing licenses.
• License types being considered include general building ("B"), general engineering ("A"), electrical, roofing, landscaping, painting, glazing, flooring, swimming pool, solar power systems, masonry, sign work, and more.
• Some applicants are noted as dual license holders (already licensed under other companies) or are seeking to add new trade categories to an existing license.

Decisions Expected

• The committee will review each application and make recommendations to the full Contractors License Board on whether to approve or deny each license request.
• No final license approvals are granted at this meeting — these are preliminary recommendations only.
