Meeting minutes: The council will review and approve notes from their March 22, 2026 meeting.
SHPDA updates: Staff will share updates on two programs — the AHEAD Grant (All-Payer Health Efficiency Approaches and Development), which focuses on improving how healthcare is paid for and delivered, and the Rural Health Transformation Program, which aims to improve healthcare access in rural areas.
Legislative update: A guest speaker from the legislature will discuss healthcare priorities addressed this session and issues expected to come up next year.
Officer elections: The council will elect a Chair and Vice Chair for the July 2026–June 2027 term, and select two volunteer representatives for statewide committees.
Future meeting planning: Members will discuss upcoming meeting dates and potential presentation topics.

Public testimony is welcome. Written comments can be submitted by email to shpda@doh.hawaii.gov at least 48 hours before the meeting. The meeting is held virtually via Zoom and in person at 1177 Alakea Street, Room 402, Honolulu.
