\nReview & Discussion of seven Draft Legislative House Bills:
\n 
\n·       HB 0102- Relating to Youth Services: Mandates the Department of Education to provide online classes and facilitate credit transfers for youth at the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility. Requires the Department of Health to offer trauma-informed care and substance abuse treatment training.
\n 
\n·       HB 0103- Relating to the Office of Youth Services: Assigns the Office of Youth Services (OYS) the responsibility of overseeing all contracts between the State and community-based youth residential programs.
\n 
\n·       HB 0104 - Relating to Youth Rehabilitation: Requires the OYS to develop and manage a grant program for applicants seeking to operate small residential facilities for adjudicated youth.
\n 
\n·       HB 0105 - Relating to Youth Services: Establishes and appropriates funds for the Youth Residential Care Oversight Board.
\n 
\n·       HB 0106 - Relating to Youth Services: Establishes the Youth Residential Services Workforce Scholarship and Loan Forgiveness Program\, administered by the University of Hawaii.

\n·       HB 0107 - Relating to Juvenile Justice: Establishes the Close to Home Hawaii Pilot Program within the Office of Youth Services
