What's Being Discussed

• The Hawaii Pest Control Board will hold its regular meeting on August 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., available both in person in Honolulu and via Zoom.
• The Board will review and approve minutes from its May 6, 2026 meeting.
• Members will go over pest control licensing exam results from April, May, and June 2026. Out of 7 total exams taken, 5 people passed across fumigation, general pest, and termite categories.
• The Board will consider new license applications from one pest control company and 16 individuals applying to become licensed Pest Control Field Representatives (PCFRs), working for companies such as Orkin, Rentokil, and others.
• Nine applicants have already completed all requirements and received their licenses — these will be formally acknowledged.
• Additional applicants have been approved to sit for the licensing exam, pending ratification by the Board.

Decisions Expected

• Approval of meeting minutes from May 2026.
• Votes on new license applications for pest control operators and field representatives.
• The Board may enter closed (executive) session to discuss personal information of applicants and legal matters, but all final votes will be made in open session.

• Members of the public interested in professional licensing oversight in Hawaii.
