What's Being Discussed
The State Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Board (STBIAB) is holding its regular meeting on September 8, 2026, from 1:30–4:00 p.m. The meeting is hybrid — attendees can join in person in Honolulu or participate via Zoom or phone. Key topics include:

Progress updates on the Neurotrauma Strategic Plan for 2025–2030, including community outreach and partner engagement ideas
Status report on the Hawaii Concussion Awareness Management Program (HCAMP) and its BrainSpace curriculum, which launched in April 2026 to help people respond to suspected concussions
Updates from brain injury support groups statewide, including groups on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii Island
Updates from healthcare and service providers such as Queens Medical Center, Kapiolani Medical Center, Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, Catholic Charities Hawaii, and others — covering topics like stroke outreach, e-bike safety, fall prevention classes, and car seat safety
