\nVote on adoption of the Community Needs Assessment: The survey instrument will be used by the Hawaii Independent Living Network to collect information from people with disabilities\, their families\, and service providers statewide about unmet needs\, service gaps\, and priorities for independent living. The proposed amendment would (1) strike Indicator 1.4.3\, which provides that Centers for Independent Living will provide resource reports on the availability and services in each zip code\, recommended for removal as duplicative of the quarterly reporting already required under Indicator 1.4.4\; and (2) amend the Statewide Independent Living Council Resource Plan from the currently approved amount of $101\,615.00 to $204\,488.00 for fiscal year 2027\, an increase of $102\,833.00. Informational update only\; no action will be taken at this meeting. Council action and public testimony on the proposed amendment are anticipated at a future meeting.
