What's Being Discussed

Parker Ranch Quarry Expansion (SP90-374): The Commission will consider a request by West Hawaii Concrete, Ltd. to expand an existing rock quarry in Waikoloa, South Kohala from about 143 acres to about 224 acres — an increase of roughly 80 acres. The proposal also asks to change the conditions around how long the quarry permit lasts.
Honoipu Hideaway Settlement (DR21-73): The Commission will discuss a proposed legal settlement submitted by Honoipu Hideaway, LLC related to a land parcel of about 17.5 acres in North Kohala. The Commission is expected to meet privately with its attorneys to review this matter before deciding how to respond.
