\nTESTIMONY PROCEDURES 
\n 
\nOral or written testimony on any agenda item will be accepted.
\n 
\nORAL TESTIMONY: Testimony will be taken at the meeting as determined by the Chair. Testifiers are limited to three (3) minutes to testify on each agenda item. Testifiers may only testify once per item. Testifiers are asked to provide their name and the organization they represent but may remain anonymous if they prefer.
\n 
\nIN-PERSON TESTIMONY: Sign-up at the physical location.
\n 
\nREMOTE TESTIMONY: Testifiers via video may sign-up using the chat function by sending a message to staff signifying their intention to testify\, their name\, and the item they wish to testify on. Testimony shall not be submitted within the chat function\, the chat function may not be used to contact Policy Board members or other meeting participants\, for commenting on the agenda items\, or other matters. Individuals may be disconnected from the meeting for breaking decorum.
\n 
\nAll non-board members are asked to mute their audio and video at all times\, except when called upon by the Chair to testify or speak.
\n 
\nWRITTEN TESTIMONY: Written testimony may be submitted by email to getinvolved@mauimpo.org or to the Maui MPO\, 200 South High Street\, Wailuku\, Hawaiʻi\, 96793. While the Policy Board requests that written testimony be submitted by noon three business days prior to the meeting\, to allow time for it to be transmitted to and reviewed by Policy Board members\, testimony submitted after such date and time must still be accepted.

\nTestifiers via phone will be called after video testimony has concluded.

\nINTERRUPTION IN VIDEO/AUDIO
\n 
\nIf the connection between any testifier and the video conference is lost\, the meeting will continue. A meeting held by interactive conference technology shall be automatically recessed for up to 30 minutes to restore communication when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with Policy Board members participating in the meeting or with the public location identified above. If connection cannot be restored within 30 minutes\, the meeting is automatically terminated.

\nThe Policy Board may receive a presentation from Kit Zulueta Furukawa\, Maui MPO’s outreach and communications consultant\, related to the Maui MPO brand refresh.

\nThe Board may vote to: (1) approve the design recommended by Maui MPO staff and its outreach and communications consultant\; (2) approve a different design than recommended by Maui MPO staff and its outreach and communications consultant\; or (3) defer.
