\nFor Information Only. Executive Director Mark Garrity will provide a summary of current activities at the O`ahuMPO\, an update on the status of federal funding and programs affecting the MPO and will recap the most recent Citizen Advisory Committee and Technical Advisory Committee meetings.

\nA.    Planning Study Close Out Presentation: Transit Asset Management Plan Update
\nThe City and County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services (DTS) staff will provide a presentation to close out the Transit Asset Management (TAM) Plan Update funded through the Unified Planning Work Program. The TAM Plan outlines strategies\, processes\, and tools to address DTS’s asset management policy and goals and maintain Honolulu’s multi-modal transit system in a State of Good Repair. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requires updates to the TAM Plan every four years. 
\n 
\nThe previous TAM Plan update included only TheBus fixed route bus service and Handi-Van paratransit service\, while this 2026 update adds the Skyline rail system assets.
\n 
\nThe O`ahuMPO Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) FFYs 2025-2028 supports implementation of the TAM Plan by scheduling transit projects to receive FTA funds.  In addition\, this plan develops TAM performance targets that O`ahuMPO adopts in coordination with DTS. [NS1]

\nRequested Action: Approve the Transit Asset Management Plan Update as evidence that the work was carried out\, submit documentation of the work completed to the USDOT for approval\, and incorporate study findings into the metropolitan transportation planning process.
\n
