\nITEM 1.                  Call to order\, introductions of members\, staff\, and visitors. 
\n 
\nITEM 2.                  Action Item - Review and approve meeting minutes from the March 25\, 2026.
\n 
\nITEM 3.                  Island of Kauai (Nicolai Barca)
\n 
\n-        Research Priorities: Discussion on the proposed science-based population modeling project\, unit-specific carrying capacities\, and targeted game management goals.
\no   Action Item – Vote on selecting a state-managed hunting area to begin initial planning/coordination of project implementation.
\no   Action Item – Vote on the necessity of developing a GMAC led Permitted Interaction Group (PIG) for this project. Assign who will be a part of this PIG. 
\n-        New Business: Discussion on overall health\, safety\, and field experiences of Hawai’i's hunting dogs. 
\n-        Outreach and Communication: Discussion on current volunteer maintenance efforts at remote campsites in Kauai’s public hunting areas and proposal looking into building/maintaining additional sites.

\no   Action Item – Vote on type of meeting scheduling (Quarterly\, Every other month\, Quarterly\, or Every Six months) for the 2027 year.

\nThe Chairperson will call for public testimony during the Commission's discussion of each agenda item.  To allow each person equal time to testify\, the Chairperson may limit the time for testimony per individual or per issue by Section 13-140-16\, Hawai'i Administrative Rules.

\nIf the Division receives testimony less than 24 hours before the meeting\, the Division will retain that testimony for the Commission's administrative record.  However\, the Division does not assure that Commissioners will receive the testimony with sufficient time for review before discussion and decision-making.
