What's Being Discussed

The University of Hawaiʻi Board of Regents Committee on Facilities and Long-Range Planning will meet on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Bachman Hall on the UH Mānoa campus. The meeting can also be watched live online at www.hawaii.edu/bor. The committee will cover two main topics:

• Space agreement at the Maui Research & Technology Center: The committee will consider allowing UH to enter into agreements with the Hawaiʻi Technology Development Corporation to use space at this Maui facility.
• UH Real Estate Overview: The committee will receive a general briefing on the university's real estate holdings and activities.

Decisions Expected

• A vote to approve minutes from the previous meeting on September 3, 2026.
• A recommendation to the full Board on whether to authorize UH to enter into agreements with the Hawaiʻi Technology Development Corporation for space at the Maui Research & Technology Center.
