Resolution 26-110\, entitled “REFERRING TO THE MAUI PLANNING\nCOMMISSION A PROPOSED BILL TO AMEND THE KIHEI-MAKENA\nCOMMUNITY PLAN AND WEST MAUI COMMUNITY PLAN AND A\nPROPOSED BILL TO CHANGE THE ZONING FOR CERTAIN\nTIMESHARE\, LEASEHOLD\, AND OTHER PROPERTIES IN THE A-1\nAND A-2 APARTMENT DISTRICTS.” Resolution 26-110’s purpose is\nto refer to the Maui Planning Commission a proposed bill to amend the\nKihei-Makena Community Plan and West Maui Community Plan and a\nproposed bill to change the zoning for 1) properties with a mix of\nTimeshare and Transient Vacation Rental uses\; 2) leasehold\nproperties\; and 3) properties with less than five units and values difficult\nfor the average potential homeowner to afford\, to allow for continued\n\nMORE à\n\nPage 2\n\nwww.MauiCounty.us/HLU\n\nTransient Vacation Rental uses.
