Childhood Obesity Task Force

This task force examined the causes and consequences of childhood obesity in Hawaii and developed recommendations for prevention and intervention across multiple sectors including schools, healthcare, food access, and built environment. It reviewed data on youth health trends in Hawaii and proposed policy changes in school nutrition standards, physical activity requirements, and community food environment improvements.
