County of Maui

The County of Maui executive branch, led by the mayor, oversees daily government operations across Maui, Moloka'i, and Lana'i. Responsibilities include the Maui Police Department, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Housing and Human Concerns, parks and recreation, and the county's wastewater and solid waste systems. The administration proposes the annual budget and manages federal and state grant programs.
