The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) regulates hundreds of professions and industries in Hawaii through licensing, registration, and enforcement programs, and protects consumers through the Office of Consumer Protection, Insurance Division, and financial institution regulation. It oversees dozens of professional licensing boards, the Business Registration Division, and the Securities Enforcement Branch. DCCA is the primary consumer protection agency in the state.
