Early Language Working Group
What This Task Force Does
The Early Language Working Group advises on policies and programs that support language development in young children across Hawaii, including bilingual and multilingual learners and Hawaiian language revitalization efforts. It reviews research on early literacy and language acquisition and makes recommendations to state agencies and the legislature. The group coordinates across education, health, and family support systems.
