Elections Appointment Panel

The Elections Appointment Panel is responsible for nominating and appointing members to the Hawaii Elections Commission, providing an independent selection process free from direct political appointment by Thống đốc or legislature. The panel reviews candidate qualifications and selects commissioners who oversee the administration of state elections. This structure is designed to insulate the commission from partisan influence.

The integrity of Hawaii's elections depends on having an independent, qualified Elections Commission, and this panel is the mechanism that ensures commissioners are chosen without partisan interference. The public can track appointments and advocate for qualified candidates.
