International & Legal Affairs Committee

The International and Legal Affairs Committee handles legislation involving the City's sister city relationships, international trade and cultural exchange programs, and legal matters requiring Council action — including settlements, claims against the city, and changes to the Revised Ordinances of Honolulu (ROH) that are primarily legal or procedural in nature.

This committee processes the legal and international agenda of O'ahu's city government. Residents with concerns about municipal legal settlements, international partnership programs, or revisions to city ordinances that affect civil rights or administrative procedures can engage through this committee.
