Native Hawaiian Justice Task Force

The Native Hawaiian Justice Task Force examines disparities in Hawaii's justice system as they affect Native Hawaiians, analyzing data on arrest rates, incarceration, juvenile justice involvement, and outcomes across the criminal justice continuum. It develops recommendations for legislative, administrative, and programmatic changes to address systemic inequities and improve outcomes for Native Hawaiian individuals and families. The task force draws on community expertise and lived experience to inform its findings.
