OahuMPO Citizen Advisory Committee

The O'ahu Metropolitan Planning Organization (OahuMPO) Citizen Advisory Committee provides public input into O'ahu's long-range transportation planning process and the federal Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The committee reviews draft plans, prioritizes transportation projects competing for federal funding, and advises the OahuMPO Policy Board on community transportation preferences.

Federal transportation dollars fund major O'ahu infrastructure projects — including road improvements, transit upgrades, and bike and pedestrian infrastructure. The CAC is the formal channel through which residents can influence which projects get prioritized before federal funding commitments are made. Input here affects projects that may not break ground for a decade.
