State Forest Stewardship Program

The State Forest Stewardship Program, administered by the Division of Forestry and Wildlife, provides technical assistance and access to federal funding through the USDA Forest Service to help private landowners manage their forests sustainably. The program develops forest management plans, supports reforestation and invasive species control, and promotes practices that maintain watershed function and native species habitat on private lands.
