State Foundation on Culture and the Arts

The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) is Hawaii's official state arts agency, responsible for advancing the arts and culture in communities statewide through grants, public art, and programs that support artists and cultural organizations. The foundation administers the Art in Public Places program, which places artwork in state buildings and public spaces, and distributes grants to hundreds of arts organizations and individual artists annually. It also works to integrate arts and culture into education and community development initiatives.
