What's Being Discussed
The Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) of Hawaii Executive Committee is holding a short one-hour meeting on August 4, 2026, from 8:00–9:00 AM. The meeting is open to the public in person in Honolulu or via Zoom.

Planning for the September annual meeting: The committee will talk about what topics to put on the agenda for their larger yearly gathering.
Outreach plan: The committee will discuss how to spread the word and encourage participation in the September meeting.
Public comment: Community members may speak on topics not listed on the agenda. The committee cannot take action on those items at this meeting, but may consider them in the future.

Decisions Expected

The committee is expected to decide on agenda items for the upcoming September annual meeting.
Approval of today's meeting agenda will also be voted on.
