What's Being Discussed
The Juvenile Justice State Advisory Council (JJSAC) Executive Committee is holding its quarterly meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The committee will cover the following topics:

Reviewing and approving meeting minutes from May 20, 2026
Public testimony from community members (3 minutes per person)
Discussing the draft budget for FFY 2026–2027, including a youth committee stipend budget
Reviewing and approving changes to the Executive Committee Charter
An update on the merger of two subcommittees: Ethnic & Cultural Diversity and Prevention & Accountability
Setting a standing quarterly meeting schedule
Updates from all committees: Executive, Compliance, Youth, and Policy
Planning topics for the upcoming full JJSAC August meeting

Recruiting candidates for Chairperson and Vice Chairperson officer seats
Setting the meeting schedule for FFY 2026–2027

The meeting is open to the public and can be attended via Zoom or in person at 1010 Richards Street, Conference Room 303, Honolulu. Written testimony is due by August 5, 2026.
