What's Being Discussed

• Executive Director's Report: Staff will share updates on current OahuMPO activities and recap recent meetings of the Citizen Advisory Committee and Policy Board. This is for information only — no vote required.
• FY2028–2029 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) Priorities: OahuMPO staff will present proposed regional transportation planning priorities for the next two-year work program. Federal law requires these priorities to be included in the work program. The priorities determine how planning funds are allocated across Oahu. The committee will review and discuss them before they go to the Policy Board for approval.

Decisions Expected

• The committee will be asked to approve the minutes from the July 10th, 2026 meeting.
• The discussion on FY2028–2029 planning priorities is for feedback only at this meeting — no formal vote is expected. A decision will be made later by the Policy Board.

Who Should Pay Attention

• Oahu residents interested in how transportation planning decisions are made and funded on the island.
• Community organizations and advocates focused on transit, roads, biking, walking, or other transportation issues.
• Anyone who wants to influence transportation planning priorities before they are formally approved — this meeting is an early opportunity to provide input.
