What's Being Discussed

The Kona Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is holding a short, one-hour special meeting focused entirely on a board member election. The meeting will take place in person only on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at 81-948 Waenaʻoihana Loop, Suite 101, in Kealakekua, Hawaiʻi.

• The meeting will be called to order with a roll call of board members.
• A special election will be held to consider the re-election of two current board members: Mark Peterson and Louis Putzel.
