What's Being Discussed
The Transportation, Housing & Employment Committee of the Hawaii State Council on Developmental Disabilities is meeting on September 28, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The meeting is available both in person in Honolulu and via Zoom.

Agency updates: Several organizations will share what they are doing to support people with developmental disabilities, including the State Council, the Executive Office on Aging, the Developmental Disabilities Division, Lanakila Pacific, and the Self-Advocacy Advisory Council.
Housing discussion: The committee will talk about what steps it can take to increase housing options for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), with a focus on neighbor islands.
Committee connections: Members will discuss what other related committees they participate in covering transportation, housing, or employment.
Public testimony: Community members may speak or submit written comments before or during the meeting.
