What's Being Discussed

The Maui County Council's Water Authority, Social Services, and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting has one item on the agenda:

• Parking Lot Pilot Project for Human Habitation: The committee will receive an update on a pilot program that allows people experiencing homelessness to use designated County parking lots as temporary living spaces. Representatives from the Department of Human Concerns and the Office of the Mayor are expected to present on how the program is going.
